Things

I am counting down the days to Summer vacation.
I feel awful that I have put this on the back burner.
Jadon becomes more of a treasure every day I know him. I praise God for him. Everything I go through for and because of him is worth it x a million!
I am sun kissed.
I am getting a little nervous about my Echo in July and what it will show. I am trusting God, sometimes in word, sometimes deep down where it counts, but at both times I am thankful I can trust Him.
Tenth Avenue North is truly blessed and they are my current fave.
Brian has been and will always be the flip in my flapjack! I love you Honey!
I am thrilled I am going to be a Tante again. I can not wait to hold that precious child in my arms.

Nitty Gritty

I thought I had learned to trust in the Lord. I sure feel as if the area of my faith has grown. I guess, though, there is always room for improvement and the Lord must want us to bump up to the next level, so to speak...
Brian and I have been noticing for awhile now that Jadon seems to have a bit of a hard time hearing, nothing major, but especially if there is any background noise at all or when watching TV or listening to music he turns the volume up really high . We decided after much prayer and consideration to get him checked out by a Doctor because it seemed to have gotten a bit worse. Long story short, when I took him to the doctor yesterday, I got a few more surprises than I bargained for. Jadon's blood pressure was really high. We need to go through some testing for that to find out why. Also, the doctor did some coordination/reasoning tests and Jadon did...okay. She wants him tested for learning disabilities, specifically dyslexia and yes, a hearing test too.
I would just ask for prayer in these situations; that the doctors would have wisdom in finding what if anything is wrong. And, most of all, God's hand of protection on our family. Thanks, I will keep you posted.
