Now, I haven't blogged in awhile and for the one person who reads my random thoughts I'm sure you have absolutely missed it and been waiting on pins and needles, so here it is. I just have to say that God is really awesome. How does He know exactly what we need, when we need it? (That question is strictly retorical) I have had my soul refreshed as of late. A really fantastic and huge perspective change. Sometimes in my own little Idaho, the "Eeyore" rain cloud is quite oppressive. I can't get out from underneath it. This is so wrong on so many accounts. Where is my joy, I've come to realize it is there...always there... I can't see it because I choose not to. He (God) is my Joy, my Rock, my Defense. Now, I absolutely put my life in His hands, I commit to have joy because I know everyday He will sustain me in His love and grace. I will make the world better because I will love them as Christ does. I will be the first to change. I will not look back. Alleluia! Praise you Adonai!
On a less personal and lighter note. I am having a fabulous time with a fabulous husband and son. The ocean is magnificant, as usual, and I am HAPPY. Truly content, missing my loved ones but enjoying the solice of a great book, wonderful food, fabuous friendship and conversations, a doting husband and son, soul communion with the LORD, and.... CRABBING. That's right, we don't keep 'em, but we catch 'em. They are wirey and squirmy buggars, they present a challenge that scares the very deepest part of me. I love feeling like an old 'salt dog crabber' ...silly? oh yes, it's really not that much of fishing, no real talent involved but I feel quite special and talented doing it. So you will find me dear friend on the docks, a Dungeness in hand (and quite possibly my hand or at least finger in a dungeness claw), with a big ole grin on my old 'salt dog' face.
