Swim lessons
I had swim lessons today with J, how I should say that is: Jadon had swim lessons today and I sat by the pool sunning myself and reading a book. Truth be told while he was with Tyler (his swim instructor) I even dozed a bit. I certainly didn't mean too but it was that kind of relaxing and I enjoyed it....a lot. Jadon is this amazing, graceful, swimmer for his age and size. He is beauty in the water (and out). He has been taking private lessons since he was 2, thanks Dad and Julie, at their pool. He swims much better when Tyler is watching. He is learning the freestyle and backstroke. Anyway, there were French people today at the pool and I loved listening to them speak. I could understand most of what was being said. It kind of felt sneaky and covert because I am sure they never imagined some house Mom to be able to understand them. It was an older man with his teenage son. It was funny to hear them relate to each other, much different than how American teenage boys talk to their Dads. Funny.... anyway when they first walked in I thought these guys don't look American. When the man (easily in his 50's) came out in a Speedo I knew they weren't. Oh la la! You gotta love the French. We had my Pop-in-law out for dinner tonight. He said yesterday they tried undressing poolside. Quite an education for some people that were there to witness it. I guess Pops had to tell them there was a dressing room. You really gotta love the French.
