Reflections of a year

I realized this morning, as I was baking the cheesecakes for Jadon's birthday, that last year at this time I didn't even think I would be living here still. It has been a year since we made the decision to be willing to move to Emmett, Lord's will be done. It was shortly before Jadon's birthday last year and I was sure that last year's party would be the last I threw for Jadon in Pocatello. Which, just goes to prove, I am not a prophetess. :) In all seriousness, I am glad to be throwing another party in Pocatello. It would seem so strange to do it any where else. So, I learned my lesson, no predictions this year for next. I am just going to leave the situation where it has always been, in God's capable and wise hands. I want no more or no less than to live and breathe and exist only in the will of God, not my own. I just want to make the most and enjoy the most out of this beautiful life God has graciously blessed me with, not just for my sake or enjoyment, but mostly to accomplish whatever the Lord has for me to accomplish for Him. He is wonderful to serve and I love to His work. So, Lord, use me and my life, to do the work you have for me, my husband, and my son - our family.
