I am so ready for Spring. I always get this way around February/ March. I love living somewhere that has 4 seasons, but Winter does seem a bit long in Idaho. I get tired of the cold, I get tired of the snow, I get tired of hearing the heater run every minute of the day, And I get really tired of the big gas bill that goes along with it. Yesterday, Israel posted, on facebook, that he was enjoying eating Lobster tacos, raw oysters, and watching a beautiful ocean. He was in Pacific Beach, CA. I wrote that he had no idea how much I wish we could be there with him. He wrote that he wished we could be with him too, that we would play on the beach together. Sounds good to me. I would even eat a raw oyster if it meant that I could be there. I so miss the ocean right now. I haven't been there in a year and half and I really miss it. I pray that somehow, some way we will be able to visit the ocean sometime this year.
We have people interested in our house again. They have looked at it twice and are contemplating putting an offer in on it. The only thing I can say is I want God's will to be done. I have been a little uptight the last couple of days about what it could all mean. My typical over analyzing of a situation and trying to plan ahead on what I can see is never a good idea. See, if the house is going to sell I would rather it sell now because Luke is working on his house and then we could move in there and rent it from him. (We won't move over to Boise/Emmett without Brian having a job) I would still have a house, not some apartment. I could still garden and Jadon could still play outside and I would have fruit trees and space and I like Luke's house, always have. But, then, I am reminded that I am only seeing the picture from my limited and human perspective. Maybe the house won't sell. Maybe it will. Maybe we won't move, maybe we will. ugh! I just keep repeating scripture to myself whenever I feel myself start worrying or becoming anxious over the whole thing, like now. God knows what He is doing. I have felt for a long time with lots of the things going on in my life that God wants me to learn to trust Him explicitly. No matter what I see or don't see. He is really driving home that lesson. And, I feel frustrated because in my head I do and in my heart I don't, or maybe it is the other way around. Either way, with my whole being, I am not completely trusting Him and so I pray even more that I will be fully submitted to His will. No matter what. Is it just me who struggles with learning this lesson? I want to learn it, badly. So, why is it taking me so long?
I am sick. Brian is sick. And, probably within a day or two Jadon will be. I have a sinus infection and so does Brian. We will both be on antibiotics. I like having a sickness antibiotics can take care of because the recovery is so quick compared to some virus. Brian also has to go in for some extended blood work soon because of his persistently low iron levels in his blood, plus the last time he had blood work done, it showed an elevated glucose level. I am glad he finally talked to the Doctor about it. I have been slightly nervous about the whole thing and am glad he will finally be getting it checked out. So, as soon as he is feeling better they want him to fast and then go in and get some blood drawn. Yea, answers. I do love answers.
In reading back through this. I feel like not posting it at all. It sounds so whiny, so woe is me. I really hate sounding that way, but then it would be pretty hypocritical if I only wrote about my thoughts and feelings when I am on cloud nine and everything is dandy. Plus, it may serve as a handy reminder down the road, that in life, all things pass with time, there is always growth needed in one area or another. God is faithful to see us through. And, I will not give up, trials come and go, but God is always there, loving and bringing us through them. With God's help I will make it through this one too.

I'm glad you posted this, despite the "woe is me" undertones. It's always hard to be upbeat when you are sick because you are so tired and just feel so yucky. Besides, I love how transparent you are in your feelings because I can identify, if not with the specific situation then with the feelings in general. And also it helps me know how to pray for you, which I do daily. Be encouraged that the Lord loves you and has a great plan for your life. I love you, too, my friend! -Jeanine
