8 loaves of bread and a lost tooth later...

I am losing speed. I have been baking since early this morning, well, after shoveling snow on the sidewalk, deck, and driveway. All I can say is praise God for wonderful neighbors with tractors or we would be stuck at home, literally. The snow is so deep. Sorry, got a little sidetracked there. Anyway, back to baking, I made each of our neighbors a jar of homemade plum jam and a loaf of homemade bread for Christmas. Of course, I wanted the bread to be nice and fresh so I made all 8 loaves today. I have already delivered some and will deliver the rest after they cool a minute, they just got out of the oven. I had to take a baking break to take Jadon to his dentist appointment. They were able to pull that naughty tooth right out. He was so brave, poor little guy was shaking, but he held still and not one tear while they gave him his shot. He is such a trooper! I get to play tooth fairy tonight. I love that. Here are the bennies of being an only child, the tooth fairy brings candy and a small toy or book. It is so fun to watch him in the morning, he gets so excited.Well, time to wrap the last bit of bread and put a bow on it. Then, it is off again in the front wheel drive sleigh!

  1. I must say, as it has been brought to my attention, that this blog holds a serious untruth. My dear and sweet husband actually was the one to play the toothfairy. I, of course, feel asleep and proceeded to be dead to the world until morning. He is good to pick up where I fail and fall short and never seems to weary in doing so. He is a blessing and joy. I love you Honey!
