Catch up on the weekend and other news

Whew! What a weekend! It was busy and stressful in a sneaky way. Saturday, we spent all day, from 9:00 in the morning to finally dropping our tired bodies in bed at well past midnight, putting the final touches on the church play we were involved in. It was fun work, I really enjoyed it, but it was also a lot of work. Yesterday was the play and it went very well. I hadn't realized how stressed I was about it until it was done. I felt this huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I thought, maybe, I might have the "after big event depression" I am so prone to, but no, not one ounce. It was fun. I'd gladly do it again and knowing me, probably will, to some extent. Last night, all three of us, had the most awful headaches and went to bed fairly early. We were all just zapped. Today, much better.
We woke up to 9" (yes, I measured) and it is still coming down of new snow. I started praying about a month ago that God would give us a white Christmas. I said that by white, I would like at least 12" of snow, although I would be just as happy with less. I do believe the Lord is graciously answering my prayer. I was probably one of the only people in Fort Hall shovelling all that new snow with a big, old, smile on my face while saying "Thank You Lord for spoiling me with my request. You are so good!" I love it. I was surprised to see that Brian had to go to work today but I also have s sneaky suspicion he will, in fact, be sent home early, if it keeps up. It is the most beautiful snow I have ever seen. I love it!
I am a little bummed today though. Jadon needs to get that little baby tooth pulled that is still in behind the permanent tooth. I tried to get him an appointment at the dentist today and they were all taken by the time I got a hold of the receptionist. I have to try again tomorrow. I am going to commit it to prayer today that I can get him in tomorrow. I want it out before Christmas, that big tooth is sure getting big and that little baby tooth is stubornly not coming out on its own.
